Laser Golf Range Finder Under $100 Too Good to Be True?

Published

on

We all know that there are some killer golf range finders out there, but the ones with all those fancy bells and whistles also come with a pretty hefty price tag.  So this leaves us with the question: can a sub-$100 range finder really cut the mustard?

Our search has lead us to the TONOR 650 Laser Golf Range Finder which currently sells for just $89.99 on Amazon.

This sleek little device certainly has all the basic features golfers are looking for in a range finder including accuracy within 1 yard to distances up to 650 yards, a lightweight and compact design, and a rechargeable battery.

What the TONOR 650 doesn’t include are things like Bushnell’s “Pin Seeker” technology which provides physical and visual feedback letting you know a pin has been found as well as some more detailed calculations such as “slope” technology (found on the Bushnell X7) which compensates for distance above or below the hole.

So, if you’re looking to save a couple hundred bucks and you’re willing to accept a more bear-bones range finder with less “creature comforts” then the TONOR 650 might just be exactly what you’re looking for.

And, with a number of 5-star reviews on Amazon it’s clear that this inexpensive alternative to the “big name” brands is the real deal.
