Product Review: The Wunder Brush
The latest stroke saving invention to hit the fairways of the golf world is the Scrub Hub by Wunder Brush.
Designed by avid golfer and Golficity member Joe Bardzilowski, the Scrub hub takes groove cleaning and makes it so easy you’ll be driven to try it after every shot. It easily fits onto the existing wheel of just about every brand of push-cart or trolley sold on the market. The hub connects quickly to either wheel of the cart and doesn’t come off until you remove it. The brush twists on and off easily by hand or by using a tee placed through the loop at the end of the brush.
We all know that in order to get maximum performance from your iron shots you have to make solid contact with the ball. The better the ball compresses into the grooves of the iron the better the spin and performance you will get from each swing. The problem is that with every shot taken we drive dirt and grass into our grooves. While wiping the visible muck off of your club head with the side of your shoe or a towel may seem good enough we all know it isn’t.
The spiral design of the bronze bristles on the Scrub Hub brush allow for the quick and complete removal of any debris accumulated right after you take a shot to remove chance for dirt to dry mud to “cake” in the grooves. The process is very simple: You hit your shot, you start walking to your next shot but before you put your club back in your bag you simply hold the club head against the brush and the scrub hub does the work for you! In the few seconds you spend walking to your ball, your grooves will be as clean as they were when you started your round. Brilliant!
To make the scrub hub even more useful you can use it to clean the dirt out of your cleats while you are waiting to hit your next shot. In fact, the brush actually gets better as you break it in from cleaning your shoes and your clubs.
Leave it to a golfer to figure out how to make life on the course as easy as possible.
