Rory McIlroy Proposes to Girlfriend Erica Stoll

Bad news ladies, Rory McIlroy is reportedly once again off the market.  The golf world is buzzing with the news that the young Irishman has yet again taken the plunge and proposed to his girlfriend, and this time the lucky lady is Erica Stoll, an employee of the PGA of America.

The two have reportedly been dating for a little over a year and it was just recently in Paris that the 26 year old PGA TOUR pro popped the question on top of the Eiffel Tower.

Coincidentally Rory posted an image of the tower on Instagram this week but made no mention of the engagement in the caption.

In an interview with The Times magazine earlier in 2015, Rory announced:

“I have met someone new…She doesn’t play golf, but she is involved with golf. I have known her for three years and we are good friends…If everything off the golf course is good, it allows you to be better on it as well.”

If you recall, McIlroy ended his engagement with tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki over the phone just shortly before the two were to be married, leaving just about everyone in complete shock.

Rory has since moved on and dated around since the separation, and who knows, maybe this one will stick.
