The New Jersey Golf Show Best of the Best
Our staff recently had the pleasure of attending the New Jersey Golf Show held at the Garden State Exhibit Center and hosted by North Coast Golf Shows. The show featured over 100 exhibitors displaying everything from new products to golf destinations and getaways. With so many exciting booths, it was hard to pick a favorite. With that said, here are a few vendors that stuck out as the real stars of the show:
Wunder Brush
Many of you may already know that Joe Bardzilowski, the founder of the Wunder Brush, has been a Golficity member from the very start. The buzz around the Wunder Brush booth was exciting to say the least. We were however able to steal Joe away for a few minutes to catch up on how things were going. It certainly was nice getting a chance to meet Joe in person. Isn’t that what a social network is really all about anyway?
Rain Wedge
Nothing beats a simple innovation that solves a common problem. The Rain Wedge immediately caught our eye as being just that type of product. To put it simply the Rain Wedge is a type of compact “hood” that easily attaches to your golf bag and can be deployed or retracted as needed to protect your clubs from the rain. How does it work? We’ll just let Vic, the founder of the Rain Wedge explain:
The Net Return
Most of us have invested in a back yard practice net at one point or another and all of us seem to share the same frustrations with them. Practice nets tend to be flimsy, unreliable, and are rarely worth the hassle of setting them up. The Net Return however is in a class of its own. Manufactured right here in Northern New Jersey, we found the Net Return to be one of the most sturdy practice nets we’ve experienced to date. With tubular construction and a hand sewn net (that’s not a typo, we said hand sewn; almost impossible to believe in today’s mass production marketplace) this net is just something you have to see to believe. Walking up to the Net Return’s booth we immediately thought, “now that has to be an expensive product.” That’s where we were perhaps the most surprised. The whole product, including the large net, side nets (to prevent errant shots) and the huge 6’ x 10’ Pro Turf mat sells for only $795.00. If it sounds like we’re excited about this product, it’s because we are. Our advice, snatch one up while you can. You just don’t find this level of value anymore.
