The 18th hole on any course can prove to be a nightmare for golfers trying to finish their day.

For Phil Mickelson, the 18th hole at TPC San Antonio dominated the lefty as he would card a final-hole quad bogey to finish his opening round at the Valero Open tied for 139th at seven over.

From water-bound drops to rocky lays, Mickelson experienced it all. It’s going to be a tough drive back home after a finish like that.
