What in the world happened here:

“A disgruntled golfer wearing a balaclava was caught on camera dousing an immaculate course green with weed killer in revenge attack that caused £16,000 of damage.

So the former miner donned a balaclava and launched a campaign of sabotage on the pristine grass.

Armed with a watering can full of liquid glyphosate he poured the chemical on the greens under the cover of darkness, before he was caught red handed and unmasked by the course’s owners.”

Can you imagine jumping a fence at night resembling a bank robber out of a cartoon to seek your revenge over some petty squabble with a Golf Club?

All that effort to get your mask ripped off by Johnny-on-the-spot.

“The groundskeeper John Rowbottom, 33, spotted the masked man on the third green over the club’s newly installed CCTV, and he quickly jumped into his car, together with his father Philip Rowbottom to reach the golf course just a few hundred metres away.

Newton tried to run off but slipped into the path of the vehicle, causing a collision.

The groundskeeper then got out and chased him on foot, catching up with him and managing to rip the balaclava from his head while filming him on his phone.”

“Newton was given three-month jail term, suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to pay £10,000 compensation.”

Newton will have some time to think about what he has done. But, something tells me he isn’t the type of guy that is remorseful.

Kyle won't turn any heads on the course except when he is yelling "Fore!". He might not be anything special on the course but he is an avid fan of the game that loves to play daily fantasy and lay some bets on the pros.
