Brooks and Bryson have been feuding for what seems like an eternity. The day finally came and we got to see a good show.

To be honest, there wasn’t much of a battle but entertaining nonetheless. Koepka went one up on Bryson after hole 2 and never lost the lead, cruising to a stunning 4&3 win.

“Not going to lie, I just wanted to spank you,” Brooks said to Bryson hole 9, where he had him dormie.

The most entertaining part though, was the long drive contest post round.

After throwing up a total of $350k towards charity for the long drive contest between Charles Barkley and the two big hitters, Bryson slammed one down the fairway 402 yards to take the victory. Brooks had no choice but show Bryson respect for his long drive abilities.

“Dude he hammers the ball, holy cow. To be honest, most of the times when we’re hitting, we’re on different ends of the range or whatever. We don’t play together. We’re opposite tee times most of the times so I never get to actually watch it. That ball goes…I mean…I’ve never seen anything like it.”

We all know how Brooksy can be – stone cold. So it was cool to see him loosen up a bit and show Bryson some much deserved respect.

I don’t foresee these two going out for a beer anytime soon, but I think the heated rivalry has finally cooled down. I have my opinions on the reasons behind ‘The Match’ and I’m sure you have yours so that’s for another day.

If you didn’t watch this slice of entertainment, it is definitely worth the look.
