TEE TIMES: Valero Texas Open Third Round

After 36 holes, Ryan Palmer is leading the Valero Texas Open shooting 10-under so far on the tournament after an opening round 4-under and a second round 6-under.

Kevin Chappell, Matt Kuchar, and Dylan Frittelli are T2 at 8-under and J.J. Spaun, Lucas Glover, Charles Howell III, Gary Woodland, and Brendon Todd are T5 at 7-under rounding out the top 5.

There is a lot on the line going into the weekend for many players in the field. Any player who’s not already qualified for the 2022 Masters needs to win on Sunday in order to get into The Masters. Anything can happen so it’ll definitely be worth keeping an eye on the leaderboard on Saturday.

Notable players to miss the -1 cut this week include Pat Perez (E), Jason Day (E), Ian Poulter (+1), Rory McIlroy (+1), Rickie Fowler (+2), Bryson DeChambeau (+5), Lee Westwood (+5) and Matt Wallace (+9).
