3M Open Payouts and Purse: How Much Did Jhonattan Vegas Win?
With the majors wrapping up and the Olympic tournament taking place next week, the race for the FedEx Cup playoffs has taken a backseat, but it’s huge for several golfers, nonetheless.
After next week’s Olympics event, only the Wyndham Championship will determine the top 70 who will advance to the FedEx St. Jude Championship, which starts on Aug. 15.
This week, perhaps the FedEx Cup points were more valuable than the prize money, which totaled $8.3 million for the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.
