VIDEO: Hurricane Helene Damage at Augusta National as Club Assesses the Effects
Augusta, Georgia, was one of the many cities in the path of Hurricane Helene last week as the storm first made its way through Florida on Thursday.
On Saturday, the X account for The Masters posted a statement from Augusta National Chairman Fred Ridley:
“Our Augusta community has suffered catastrophic and historic impact from Hurricane Helene. We currently are assessing the effects at Augusta National Golf Club.

Drone video surfaced showing the iconic Magnolia Lane littered with trees and debris:

The course typically reopens for members in October. There has been no update on the status of the course itself.
