Augusta, Georgia, was one of the many cities in the path of Hurricane Helene last week as the storm first made its way through Florida on Thursday.

On Saturday, the X account for The Masters posted a statement from Augusta National Chairman Fred Ridley:

“Our Augusta community has suffered catastrophic and historic impact from Hurricane Helene. We currently are assessing the effects at Augusta National Golf Club. In the meantime, our focus and efforts are foremost with our staff, neighbors and business owners in Augusta. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as well as everyone throughout Georgia and the Southeast who have been affected.”

Drone video surfaced showing the iconic Magnolia Lane littered with trees and debris:

In addition, some photos have surfaced, including this one showing trees littered all across a grass parking area.

The course typically reopens for members in October. There has been no update on the status of the course itself.
