LIV Golf is losing its biggest stars, and a bombshell decision from the DP World Tour could be the final nail in the coffin.

In this episode of The Golf Podcast we dive into the breaking news that could signal the beginning of the end for LIV Golf. With the DP World Tour announcing that players must choose between maintaining their membership and competing in LIV Golf 2.0, the future of the controversial golf league is suddenly looking more uncertain than ever.

The decision carries major Ryder Cup implications and comes as several high-profile players appear ready to walk away from LIV Golf. We break down Jon Rahm’s decision to leave LIV Golf, what it means for his future on the PGA Tour, and why the DP World Tour may have chosen this moment to draw a hard line. With names like Brooks Koepka, Patrick Reed, Sergio Garcia, and Abraham Ancer already departing, and questions surrounding Joaquin Niemann, Tyrrell Hatton, Cameron Smith, and Bryson DeChambeau, can LIV Golf survive without its biggest stars?

Plus, we examine LIV Golf’s bankruptcy proceedings, its proposed restructuring, and whether LIV Golf 2.0 has any realistic chance of launching in 2027.

Is this finally the end of LIV Golf, or can the league pull off another unexpected comeback?
