Golf Gossip Girl: Scandals, Rickie Fowler, and Expensive Shoes

Obviously golf isn’t the first place women look to for gossip, fashion trends, and scandals.  We can get caught up easily in the plethora of media outlets that give us our gossip fill on a daily basis, but there’s more out there than the US Weekly/People mags and Housewives/Bachelorette reality shows.

There is a fascinating aura about the celebrities in the golf world.  There’s private jets, millionaires, martial scandals, drug stories, hot wives and now more than ever, girls emerging on social media trying to become the next hot amateur golfer.

I mean how much money is Austin Johnson making as his brother Dustin’s caddie that he can shower his hot girlfriend Samantha Maddox with Louboutin shoes and fancy getaways?  Well, we’re pretty sure the TaylorMade sponsorship contract is taking care of the Johnson boys and their girls.  In 2015, DJ made over $12 million with half coming from endorsements according to Golf Digest.

That’s a lot of shoes for Mrs. Gretzky-Johnson.

First let’s talk about my favorite; scandals.  Nothing will top Tiger Woods scandal of 2009 where the world discovered that golf’s most powerful man had about 1,400 girlfriends.  Then Hollywood Life tried to fabricate a story about him cheating on Lindsey Vonn with the sexy ex-wife of Jason Dufner.  Did you even hear about that?

Did Dustin Johnson sleep around and party like a college frat boy for the last half decade on TOUR?  What really happened that pushed Dustin Johnson over the edge a few years back which almost ended his career?  What’s true out there and what isn’t?  Let me be the judge of that.

Will something happen to Rory’s love life that will make headlines again (like dumping his fiancé Caroline Wozniacki over the phone) or will Rickie finally settle down or continue living every 27 year-old boy’s dream?  You heard it here, if it happens, I’ll be on top of it!

Whether we date them, are married to them, stalk them, or just read a news clip about them, some of these boys on TOUR are hot.  Hello Rickie!  From his insanely popular social media presence, his patience (yes patience is attractive), tight golf pants and high-tops, fancy cars, and sexy surfer hair, Rickie Fowler has seemed to catapult himself to the top of the golf heartthrob list.  Have you seen his past girlfriends?  Better yet, have you seen him lately?  Nice job LB from The Bachelor, you denied the rose for a much better catch.

Why wouldn’t we want to be up to date with all the juicy gossip and the current trends of their equally hot girlfriends and wives?  Personally, I could care less about Keegan Bradley’s hole-out for eagle but would really want to know is what type of Clohe bag is his girlfriend Jillian Stacy wearing in that post?

As I mentioned, my life is consumed by golf thanks to my husband and I cannot help myself to pry into the mysterious world of golf glam.  We can all hope we look as good as Ellie Day did after she was knocked out by LeBron James.  Did I mention her outfit and highlights we’re dynamite that night?

One last note before I return with more breaking news and gossip from the golf world.  I have learned the tricks of the trade on gift giving to keep my man happy.  As I take you on this journey, allow me to me to guide you through these uncharted waters of the golf world.  Ladies, there’s so much to learn.
