OnCore Golf Opening Mega “Top-Golf Style” Complex In Buffalo

With all of the success that TopGolf and similar driving range/entertainment centers have had in recent years, many other companies and groups are starting to join the trend. OnCore Golf is the latest to jump into the fray with a very ambitious plan.

The group announced today that they would be investing $30 million to build a super golf complex located in the company’s home city of Buffalo, New York. A golf technology company by trade, it may seem odd for OnCore to be making such a big complex but they see it as something bigger than just a golf experience. The company prides itself on its innovation and plans to have other options available at the complex for younger players and people who don’t play all that well.

“We’re very excited to be able to bring this kind of golf and sports entertainment experience to an urban setting – the result of engineering and technology innovations that have been years in the making,” said OnCore Golf co-founder Keith Blakely. “In doing so, we hope to elevate interest in golf amongst a broad demographic and to enable partnerships with organizations with similar goals.”

OnCore Buffalo – This ONE is FORE Buffalo

Buffalo-based OnCore Golf Technology, Inc., is pleased to announce that along with several strategic and financial partners, including Doug Swift – the founder of RiverWorks – and Joe Carubba – former CEO of Carubba Collision – a first-of-its-kind sports entertainment complex including a fully-integrated hotel is coming to Buffalo, NY.

As for all of the features of OnCore Buffalo, it will feature a driving range as it’s the main attraction with three tiers to tee off from and play games with friends, similar to TopGolf. But as mentioned before, there will be other options like Pokemon features for younger kids and a variety of virtual reality experiences for all to enjoy.

The location for the massive complex will be built on Kelly’s Island on a 7-acre plot right along the Buffalo River. And even if you’re not from Buffalo, OnCore has you covered, as they plan to make a hotel out of the complex as well with hundreds of rooms being above the driving range itself, something TopGolf doesn’t have.

The project is already a go with funding and construction should begin soon with the anticipation of opening sometime in 2021. And when it does open, it’s sure to be one of the new must-see destinations in the golf world.
