Don’t Worry Everyone, John Daly Apparently Has a Cure for Coronavirus

Without golf going on, it’s hard to find something that gets fans excited or catch their attention. But even during a pandemic, Long John Daly is happy to give us all a good laugh.

Ever since the coronavirus breakout in the U.S., people have been trying to find home remedies to help protect themselves or cure themselves of the virus. While there are some crazy solutions out there, John Daly has come out with one of the most ridiculous cures possible. In a video shared by The Trump Organization, Daly came out and gave everyone his alcoholic vaccine.

So what’s the magic cure? 

“I only drink one drink a day, it just happens to be a bottle of good old Belvedere,” Daly said while holding some Vodka on camera. “Just drink one of these a day. You know, sippy, sippy on a McDonald’s diet Coke ya know, wash it down pretty good. Never have a hangover.”

While Daly’s cure may sound good to a lot of folks out there, the facts don’t really back it up. The World Health Organization has already come out and said there are no home remedies, even Vodka, that can kill the coronavirus. In fact, the WHO has actually put out statements in the past that alcohol will make you more susceptible to COVID-19.

It’s hard to tell if Daly actually believes that his Vodka can be the cure to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic but he also delivered a positive message to all the people out there who are affected. Daly ended his video by hoping that everyone remain healthy and smart during this crisis and that hopefully it will all be over soon so we can get back to golf.

While I wouldn’t endorse Daly’s COVID-19 cure by any means, I will second his statement on remaining healthy and smart during this unprecedented time. And if we all do that, we’ll have golf back in our lives soon enough!
