This didn’t go unnoticed by @barstoolsports or the @foreplaypod boys. They quickly rallied together and created the #letthemplay classic. It has officially been announced that not only did they have over 40 players commit to the event, but it will be a full team event and the NCAA has approved it!

This isn’t just a win for Barstool or the ladies who get a chance to finish out their season, but it’s a win for the entire sport. I wonder if the original event was a men’s tournament, if it would have been canceled. Barstool stepped up and used their pull to do something great for the sport.

The event will take place @whirlwindgolf from May 20th-21st. I tip my cap to everyone involved in getting this put together. Great job!

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
