“I don’t know what to expect,” said Watson who spoke to GolfMagic and a number of other UK media on Tuesday.

“The only thing from a medical standpoint and a physical standpoint is that since it is his right foot that is damaged, you can play golf with a damaged right foot, but you can’t with a damaged left foot.”

Woods, who has been vocal about how difficult the rehab process has been for him,  has claimed victory at the Open three times What a comeback it would be if he was able to even start at the 2022 Open.

“I would suspect that Tiger will be back playing professional golf before the Open Championship in 2022.”

If anything, we know it won’t be Woods’ competitive spirit that stops him from returning fully to golf.
