No Laying Up has reported that Tim Tucker, caddie to Bryson DeChambeau, has quit. He will no longer work for Bryson. He caddied for DeChambeau throughout the early week (practice rounds, Pro-AM).

Also according to NLU, someone from the Cobra/Puma team will step in and carry the bag.

The reason for this change is unknown, but I’m sure that’s the first question Bryson will get after his round today.

He was on the bag for all of Bryson’s PGA Tour wins.  We know they had a solid connection but we simply do not know all the answers yet.

Hopefully it’s nothing serious on Tucker’s side, and he just got sick of Bryson. Trust me, I’ve been there for years.

I’ll be sure to circle back and update this post as more info is made available.

I grew up in southern New Hampshire, where I first fell in love with the game of golf. I started by just going out and messing around with my buddies and focusing purely on having a good time! I never took golf seriously until I moved down to Tampa, FL to attend the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! At the start of my junior year I got a job working as a cart boy at a local private country club. This is when I started to focus on golf becoming my career. During the fall of my senior year, I turned from a 14 handicap, to a 2. I passed the PAT scoring test my first try and haven't looked back.
