I have to say that I am surprised nobody has done this before. It’s such a simple prank to play on people and yet it’s so enjoyable to watch.

I get why the crowd flocks to the ball. You aren’t paying much attention and then there is a ball right in front of you. Everyone there wants to see the action up close but most of the crowd won’t have a chance to be that close. Kudos to Mahomes for checking the ball for his mark and not just hitting.

“I knew I was further than that” is a great line by the way as he walked away.
