The Series Tiger Was Filming Before His Accident is Now Going Live
Earlier this year, on February 23rd, Tiger Woods was in a car crash that resulted in major injuries and a long stint in a LA hospital. Thankfully, Tiger survived and is now recovering back home in FL.
In the days leading up to the crash, not only did Tiger stop by Riviera to watch Max Homa win the Genesis, he was involved in the production of a series with Golf TV and Golf Digest. Today, the first episode of that series went live, featuring the world-renowned actress Jada Pinkett Smith.
.@JadaPSmith joins @TigerWoods on the course for a playing lesson while discussing his 2019 Masters win, parenting and more. 💯

“During Jada Pinkett Smith’s round with Tiger, she goes deep with her old friend about his life journey, his never-ending persistence and parenting. She also learns that minor tweaks to her golf setup can make a big difference to her game.” – Golf Digest YouTube
In the intro, Jada describes that she got into the game right after Tiger won the 2019 Masters…
“This games got something for me, I’m going to take it seriously.”
Throughout the video, Tiger tries helping Jada with her game anyway he can, but Jada does a great job of pulling information out of him that we haven’t heard before. He talks about his daughter, his feeling after winning his recent major, and many more in-between.
A quote that hurt to hear…
“Tiger’s back”
At the time, there was no reason for Jada not to say that. But with everything that’s happened since this was filmed, it puts into perspective how fragile life really is.
If you haven’t watched it already, here’s the full episode from Golf Digest’s YouTube.
All of us at Golficity wish a continued speedy recovery to Tiger.
