Rickie Fowler Ties the Lead at the 3M, Then Cards 8 on Final Hole
For a while, Rickie Fowler looked like he was going to make a serious run this weekend. However, it seems now that any hopes of seeing Fowler take home the W on in his traditional orange on Sunday are fleeting.
Fowler’s undoing was the par 5 18th, where he carded his worst ever score to end a round on TOUR; an 8.
Golf. 😩
Once leading @3MOpen, Fowler carded an 8 on 18 to finish 6 back of the lead.

After coming up short on his approach and finding the water, Fowler scrapped his way around the green for the dreaded triple-bogey.
Not the way he wanted to end the round, when earlier today he was on top of the leaderboard.
Fowler now sits at 6-under, putting him in a tie for 31st.
