Rory Gets Emotional in Ryder Cup Post-Round Interview
If you didn’t think Rory really cared about the Ryder Cup, being apart of the European team, or his individual performance, think again.

In his post-round interview following his singles round win over Xander Schauffele, Rory got emotional, something we haven’t seen too often from him.
“I’m glad I got a point on the board for them,” McIlroy said, “It’s been a tough week”.
Despite the tough week, Rory made his feelings about the event very clear.
“The more and more I play in this event, I realize it’s the best event in golf, bar none,” McIlroy said through tears, “I can’t wait to be a part of many more”.

It seems going forward that Rory will have a soft spot in his heart for the privilege of representing Europe in the Ryder Cup.
