Tiger Woods Will Be Back, But “Has A Long Way To Go”
Tiger Woods spoke to the media today ahead of the Genesis Invitation, the event he hosts every year.

Tiger confirming that he will play again on the PGA Tour is absolutely massive but he did say that he will have to pick and choose his events.
Tiger has been picking and choosing his events on Tour for many years no so this should come as no shock to golf fans.
There is some bad news though, Tiger said:
“My golf activity has been very limited. Still working on the walking part. Working strength and development, it takes time. Frustrating it’s not at my time table. I want to be at a certain point and I’m not.”
He also mentioned that he has not been able to ramp up his long game activity yet like he has with the short game but says he’s gotten stronger since PNC.
Tiger said:
“I can walk on a treadmill all day. Golf course I have a long way to go. I’ve gotten this far and each and every day is a fight. And I welcome that fight.”
Tiger Woods has never been one to give up and has been dealing with adversity his whole life. Whenever he sets his mind to something, he accomplishes it.
Although it sounds like Tiger playing in The Masters is definitely off the table now he didn’t rule out playing in the Wednesday par 3 contest at The Masters saying, “I can walk that now. Whether I do that or not, I don’t know.”
Reading between the lines regarding Tiger: Augusta is looking very unlikely. Much, much better chance for dead-flat St. Andrews. Just my two cents.

I don’t think anyone could say it better than Daniel Rapaport did here. Let’s start looking past The Masters at hilly Augusta National and start looking at The Open Championship at the flat St. Andrew’s Old Course as Tiger’s first return to official PGA Tour golf.
Whether it’s the 2022 Open or any other tournament on the schedule I think I speak for all Tiger fans when I say, him confirming he will be playing again on Tour puts us all at ease.
Where do you think Tiger will be making his return to the Tour?
