SkyTrak Quick Tip: Long Drive Challenge

Tee it high and let it fly. We’ve all heard it and nothing feels better than launching a bomb down the middle of the fairway.

Obviously the majority of us are nowhere close to Kyle Berkshire, but it’s fun to pretend. That’s where the long drive feature on the SkyTrak comes in.

This is a great feature to really help push yourself get those extra yards. You are able to customize the landing zone from a large fairway down to a more narrow shoot.

The game can have multiple people playing on once session with three or six shots each. The challenge also allows a player to take the longest drive from their session or a cumulative total.

After every session the top scores are added to the leader board. The date and scores are saved until you, or someone else beat those scores. I have really enjoyed this feature because it has allowed me to put pressure on myself while squeezing out those extra yards. I’ve seen my average drive increase from the 260’s to the mid 270’s and still find the scoring zone.

Will this translate to long drives on the course? I certainly hope so! If you want to push your game to the next level, consider adding a SkyTrak to your game. rainorshinegolf.com have helped my game stretch to the next level with this device and they can help you too.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
