Ahead of the Masters Tournament will be the return of the Masters Par 3 Contest, set to begin at 12:00 noon, Wednesday.

The classic 9 hole exhibition match is being held for the first time since 2019, as the Covid-19 pandemic had put a damper on the annual event.

Both participants and patrons enjoy the event as it brings together families and friends of golfers. Participating golfers can have their wives, children, family members, or friends caddy for them.

Guest shots from caddies have been known to grab the spotlight, with the penalty of disqualification seemingly unimportant to the golfers.

Notably absent this year will be Jack Nicklaus, who will spectate the event.

Even though The Golden Bear won’t be teeing it up, he will undoubtedly be cheering on participants as they seek to add to the tally of 94 hole-in-ones during the legendary competition.
