BREAKING: DeChambeau and Reed Latest to Join LIV Golf’s Fast Growing Roster
LIV Golf has dominated golf news over the past 10 days.
LIV shattered the golf world on May 29th with news that Dustin Johnson (2 Major Wins, 24 Total PGA TOUR Wins), Sergio Garcia (1 Major Win, 11 Total PGA TOUR Wins), Louis Oosthuizen (1 Major Win, 1 PGA TOUR Win), Kevin Na (5 Total PGA TOUR Wins), Charl Schwartzel (1 Major Win, 2 Total PGA TOUR Wins) were all leaving behind the PGA TOUR and would be playing in the inaugural LIV event at the Centurion Golf Club (UK).
LIV followed it up on June 6th with the announcement that Phil Mickelson (6 Major Wins, 45 Total PGA TOUR Wins) would also be playing in London.
But LIV Golf wasn’t done.

While nothing official has been published, Adam Schefter is reporting that Bryson DeChambeau (1 Major Win, 8 Total PGA TOUR Wins) and Patrick Reed (1 Major Win, 9 Total PGA TOUR Wins) are both joining LIV Golf, and will be playing in the inaugural U.S. event scheduled for June 30th to July 2nd at Pumpkin Ridge (Portland, Oregon).
If true, this brings the LIV Golf roster to nearly 50 players, consisting of many recent Major champions.
Bryson DeChambeau, the 2020 U.S. Open Champion, and Patrick Reed, the 2018 Masters Champion, are joining the LIV Golf Invitational Series, according to multiple reports.https://t.co/9kK5iUEOGJ

Despite Jay Monahan taking a very hard stance against LIV Golf, including a lifetime ban from the TOUR for defectors, it appears that LIV Golf is picking up more and more steam with each player announcement.

And with each new player announcement, the PGA TOUR feels more and more pressure to relax its stance and face the fact that there might be an alternative league that players will be appearing on.
