LIV Golfers Officially Removed From FedEx Cup Standings, Ineligible to Win PGA’s Tour Championship
While the LIV Golf paydays are, in fact, large, its members who were in line for a FedEx Cup playoff berth will be out of the running for the Tour Championship and the $15 million that goes to the winner.
Removed from the rankings includes Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, Bryson DeChambeau, and Brooks Koepka, along with Talor Gooch and Jason Kokrak, both of whom won PGA Tour events this season.

The removal of several players gave a boost to golfers like Rickie Fowler, Stewart Cink, Webb Simpson, and Lucas Glover, who are all now residing inside the top 125.
There is one more week left in the regular season, which concludes at the Wyndham Championship this week. You can see the projected standings here and who is on the 125-man bubble.

The 125 who reach the playoffs will take part in the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis. The top 70 in the standings will move on to the BMW Championship in Wilmington, Delaware, the following week, and the top 30 in the standings will then play in the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta from August 25-28.
Patrick Cantlay is the defending FedEx Cup champion. He’s fifth in the current standings behind leader Scottie Scheffler.
