Just For Fun
An INSIDE LOOK of the PGA Tour Locker Room (On The Road)
Everyone plays an integral role before a PGA tournament from the caddies getting the minute details of the golf course to the players practicing on the course beforehand. Additionally, behind the scenes in the clubhouse where players may only spend all but a few minutes is pivotal.
The Goodie Bag
As seen below, the players on staff for TaylorMade get their “goodie bag” for the tournament. The goodie bag being prepared was for PGA Tour player, Lucas Herbet. He received 3 dozen golf balls, a six-pack of gloves and a few golf caps.
It would have been neat for the sake of the video to open up Tiger’s cabinet to see what may or may not have been inside. Besides the point, the extra gloves make sense because players are always giving them to fans when possible, especially if a fan gets struck with a golf ball. It does make you wonder if this is the usual quantity that players are receiving on a week to week basis.
If the average tour pro plays at least 20 events, that would be 720 golf balls, 120 gloves and roughly 80 caps. That’s likely more than the average amateur would use in their lifetime minus the 720 golf balls.
Not a bad way to be taken care of. Now you just need to go play well to keep it all going. No pressure.
