REPORT: Tiger Woods Is Gearing Up For THE MATCH VII

We haven’t seen much of Tiger playing other than him recently hosting a clinic at Pebble Beach. A lot of excitement surrounded Woods when footage was released of him playing his newly designed short course, the Hay.

Woods is now gearing up for the next edition of “The Match” this December at the Pelican Club in Tampa Bay. He will be accompanied by Rory, Jordan Spieth, and Justin Thomas.

The inaugural match started with two of the best of this era, with Phil Mickelson and Tiger squaring off, where Mickelson was the eventual winner in riveting fashion.

However, there has yet to be a match with only professional golfers as in the past, when it was a team event, athletes like Tom Brady and Steph Curry were teamed up with the pro golfers. 

Tiger will be at his tournament the week before, The Hero World Challenge, till December 4th, which would likely mean him playing in a cart or resting for “The Match.” Woods has a busy three weeks because it is likely we will see Tiger and his son, Charlie, attempt to capture their first PNC Championship the following week after “The Match.” 

Nonetheless, it is exciting for golf fans to get family and friends around to soak in the action when Woods plays the match with Rory, Spieth, and Thomas.
