Mississippi Golfer Bites Nose off Playing Partner’s Face
We’ve all had arguments with friends. Especially over sport. Whether it’s competing, debating, or accusations of cheating, there’s always something that causes dispute.
Check out these Aussies clashing head-to-head on the golf course earlier this week.
A game of golf should not be that serious. 😲

Mark Wells, 51, of Biloxi, Mississippi, forms a central part of today’s golf course altercation story, where one nasty dispute led to a hospitalization.
Things got pretty heated at Bridges Golf Course earlier that day, and later that day at Hollywood Casino, Wells bit the nose off his playing partner. You know, the old dig in the ribs, friendly shove, remove a body part from their face.
Wells has been charged with felony mayhem, which carries a maximum of seven years as a prison penalty, but walked out of jail two days after the incident after paying 10% of his $50,000 bond.
Chomping on his mate’s face seemed like an overreaction after a round of golf, and it remains to be seen what specifically caused the incident. Maybe Wells wanted a breakfast ball?
