Mickelson Lets Loose on Twitter!

Phil Mickelson has recently stepped up his Twitter game with more targeted responses to Brandel Chamblee, Eamon Lynch, and Rory McIlroy.

For context, Phil has been the brunt of attacks from the aforementioned trio, Rory, off the back of the Full Swing episode – where he famously shouted ‘F*** you, Phil!’. Chamblee in particular has doubled down on his efforts to chastise Mickelson, leading to offers of open debates between the two, which Phil allegedly turned down.

Lynch often paints Phil as the lead perpetrator in all things wrong with the professional game.

Phil’s most recent string of tweets are pretty direct, engaging with random fans and getting straight to the point.

Phil Mickelson on Twitter: ‘His obsession with LIV (and me) borders on the psychotic

Mickelson also tweeted that LIV would be perfect for Rory McIlroy – but that no team would have him as ‘they’d have to deal with all his bs’.

A standout tweet in response to a query on Mickelson’s gambling habits was this belter:

It is a revolutionary time in the game when decorated professionals are taking direct shots at one another from behind their phone screens. Of course, Rory is not without blame in all this. Phil also suffered a lot of abuse at the beginning for going to LIV and initially stayed quiet on his social media.

I’m sure the players would prefer everyone to concentrate on their golf, but these personal feuds will not be settled easily.

Twitter Phil is back, and ready for a fight!
