Byeong Hun An Picks Up Three-Month PGA Tour Suspension
Byeong Hun An has picked up a three-month PGA Tour suspension for violating the TOUR’s anti-doping policy.
The TOUR announced on Wednesday that An tested positive for a substance that is banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency. The substance was found in an over-the-counter cough medicine in South Korea, where he is from.
The suspension is retroactive to August 31, 2023, and he will be eligible to return to competition on December 1, 2023.

An is ranked 53rd in the Official World Golf Ranking and has not yet won on the PGA Tour in his career. However, he did win the BMW PGA Championship on the DP World Tour in 2015.
In 2023, he finished 44th in the FedEx Cup Playoffs and picked up 4 Top 10 finishes for the season.
His best finish this past year was a T2 at the Wyndham Championship on August 6. He made it to the BMW Championship in August but did not finish in the Top 30, so he missed the TOUR Championship at East Lake.
