Tiger Woods ‘Absolutely’ Can Win Again, But His Limited 2024 Plans Will Make It a Tall Task
Tiger Woods said in a press conference today that he can “absolutely” win again, but he also stated he will try to play one tournament a month, giving him a limited number of opportunities to do so.
One thing is for certain, however: You shouldn’t bet against the Big Cat.
Woods is in the Bahamas for the Hero World Challenge, a tournament he has hosted for several years that features no cut and a number of the world’s best players.
During a pre-tournament presser on Tuesday, Woods was asked whether he thinks he can win again. His response was as Tiger-esque as you’d expect:
“Absolutely.”

Woods also mentioned that he plans to play around one tournament per month in the upcoming season. Yesterday, we reported that Woods had been telling people in South Florida that he planned to play as many as six events in 2024, likely being the Majors, the Players, and the Genesis Invitational.
The big hold-ups in terms of Woods’ consistency are related to his ailments with his legs and feet. In April, he withdrew from the Masters after making the cut because of an issue with plantar fasciitis.
He has been rehabbing since April and has had surgery as well, and Tiger said that walking is not as much of an issue as it was in the past.
Woods will tee off this Thursday with Justin Thomas at 11:52 A.M.
