Luke Donald Will Captain the European Ryder Cup Team in 2025
Ryder Cup Team Europe is officially set for 2025 with Luke Donald at the helm once again.
The decision was made official today, the Europeans will be ecstatic to see their leadership will be unchanged after resounding success in Rome.
Donald becomes Europe’s first repeat captain since Bernard Gallacher, who served three consecutive stints from 1991-1995.

Bethpage Black is the confirmed venue for 2025, making Donald’s task much more challenging with an away crowd and everything that accompanies playing across the pond.
The New York crowd will make their presence known after Team USA failed to impress in Italy this year. We are still waiting for confirmation of their captain for 2025, with Tiger Woods himself as the current favourite. With all his commitments to the repair of the PGA Tour and personal rehab, it seems unlikely he will take on such a responsibility, but he has surprised us before.
Donald will get to work building his side for New York, looking to become the second ever European captain to win home and away Ryder Cups since Tony Jacklin in the 1980’s.
