Tiger Woods to Tee it up Next Week at Rivera
Tiger Woods has committed to the Genesis Invitational next week.
His schedule for 2024 committed to one event per month, and he made it around the Hero World in the Bahamas last December in one piece, before taking January off. His first start of the calendar year will be next Thursday at Riviera.

Rivieria boasts 25 champions of the Genesis that are now in golf’s Hall of Fame, yet the last two champions are now playing on the LIV Tour, in Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann. The site of Tiger’s first PGA Tour tournament and Jack Nicklaus’ professional debut, the course is steeped in history.
Tiger’s last official start was the 2023 Masters Tournament. As host of the annual tournament, the Genesis makes sense as a starting point for Tiger, as he looks to shake off rust and build some sort of momentum if he is to play at Augusta this year in April. In a surprising start to the year containing multiple winners outside the 100/1 range, who’d put it past Tiger to make it win number 83?
He took to his social media accounts stating that he was ‘excited to be a playing host next week’ before tagging the Genesis Invitational account. They replied, “See you in LA boss.”
The Genesis begins on Thursday, 12th February.
