Anthony Kim’s Return to Professional Golf at LIV Jeddah is Official
Anthony Kim’s return to professional golf is official, and he will be teeing it up at LIV Jeddah.
Commissioner Greg Norman took to X to post a promotional video of the event, with the following caption:
“He oozes incredible talent. The world has seen it in the past and now it is an honour as Commissioner of LIV Golf to give the opportunity for this star to be reborn. Welcome back and to the LIV Golf family mate. The golf world has missed you.”

Signing AK is a lot of fun, and all eyes will be on him as LIV continue to poach golfers from the PGA Tour. He was off the radar, in the underworld, and almost unknown to Gen Z golfers unless they frequently rewatch 2008 Ryder Cup re-runs.
The wildcard feature with LIV now means AK could slide in to the roster, obviously violating his insurance policy by playing a professional event, but I’m sure they made it worth his while.
I think Jeddah will be the most popular event so far for this reason. We can reminisce on the AK of old if he shows up with a huge belt buckle and birdies the first. If he shoots a couple of 77s, the hype will soon die down.
