Five time Masters champion Tiger Woods is on the grounds at Augusta National Golf Club and began his 2024 preparation for the first major of the year.

As per TWLegion:

Tiger touched down earlier this weekend and allegedly teed it up with Chairman Fred Ridley and close friend and fellow major champion Justin Thomas.

Bob Harig of Sports Illustrated reported on the specifics of the tee time and confirmed the presence of Justin Thomas alongside Tiger, the two have been known to practise together consistently over the last decade. JT will be gleaning all the advance he can from Tiger as he looks to fix his putting woes and make his mark at Augusta this time around.

We know Tiger hasn’t had the start to 2024 he would’ve wanted and if he was to miss the cut here or withdraw for injury or other reasons – there would be very few that believe we can see him piece together four competitive rounds ever again. Woods is currently listed as being in the field for the Masters and we expect him to be there all week.

He has never missed a cut at the Masters and is deeply proud of this statistic, looking to add one more to make it 24 consecutive curs made in 2024. The undulating course isn’t ideal for his injuries to the lower body, but it looks like his preparation has started early.
