Scottie Scheffler is keeping the handymen of North Texas busy this year.

Speaking before he vies for an Olympic gold medal in Paris, Scheffler said that he’s had to make some additions to his golf room at his Dallas home, where he stores his trophies, works on his clubs, and uses a golf simulator.

Scheffler, who added a second green jacket as Masters winner this year, said:

“We built a couple additional shelves this year which is pretty fun. We were redoing the room as I was winning a bunch, and so we just kind of had to continue to adjust…I got some cool stuff that I like to hold on to. I got rid of a lot of stuff in the last year or so.”

Scheffler, a six-time winner so far in 2024, also relayed a story of a not-so-humble-brag of his accomplishments this season:

Meantime, the Olympic pairings for round No. 1 were announced, and Scheffler will be playing with Rory McIlroy and Ludvig Åberg.

Defending Olympic gold medalist Xander Schauffele comes in with the most momentum, having won the PGA Championship and Open Championship so far this year.
