Jordan Spieth provided an update regarding his wrist injury, which required surgery and widely impacted is performance on the PGA TOUR through the 2024 season.

On Saturday, Spieth posted an update regarding the surgery and the repair on his wrist:

“I had a procedure on my left wrist last week, as I had mentioned was the plan. The operation went smoothly and I’m grateful for the exceptional medical team and support of Annie and my family. Focused on rest and rehab, and I look forward to returning to golf healthy and prepared for 2025!”

Although he has struggled through the past few years with consistency and overall confidence, 2024 was, without a doubt, an off-year for Spieth.

He played 22 events and made the cut in just 14. He made the FedEx Cup Playoffs but failed to break into the Top 50, which disqualified him from moving on to the second tournament, the BMW Championship.

Spieth has struggled with his swing, evidently not playing as well as he has in the past. His short game has suffered mightily this year, which was, at one point, the strongest portion of his game.

Spieth will return to the TOUR in 2025 and hopefully will regain the swing and confidence he once had.
