Check Out Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale’s Backyard
This is what those of us obsessed with golf would call spending your gobs of money the right way.
The Real Madrid winger has built himself an exact replica of the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass in his backyard.

He is also planning on building a replica of Royal Troon’s Postage Stamp and a replica of Augusta’s par 5 11th, White Dogwood.
“I love playing golf,” explains Bale, “I love the sport, I love the fact that you can just get away from everything.”
World-renowned soccer players, they’re just like us!
Except for the fact that they can build iconic holes of golf in their backyards…of course.
Even though he’s a six handicap, with all of the trouble the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass has caused on the TOUR, I imagine he may want to invest in some scuba gear to recoup all of the golf balls that will ultimately end up in the drink.
