Road to the Bay Hill Pro-Am: 10 Days to Go (Whats in the Bag)
March 14, 2018 … tee off day at The Arnold Palmer Invitational (API) Pro-am. We have 10 days to go.
In case you haven’t been following along, back in June of 2017 I sank a putt that won me an all expenses paid trip to the API to play a round of golf with one of the best golfers in the world. Who we are playing with remains undecided until the night before the round; so make sure you follow @golficity on both Instagram and Snapchat to find out the news of the final pairing coming Tuesday night March 13.
First, let’s go back to where it all began:
18Birdies Media Day – Can Mike Sink a $15,000 Putt???
Frank & Mike from the Golficity Golf Podcast attend the 18Birdies Media Event and take a shot at the big prize…a spot in the Pro-Am at Bay Hill.
So for this first edition of my “Road to Bay Hill Countdown” I wanted to do a quick What’s in the Bag segment.
I’ve been to numerous fittings in the last few months, I’ve studied the Bay Hill yardage book, I’ve taken private lessons on only Bermuda grass (ok, I’m kidding about this one), and I’ve been in the simulator and at the range numerous times getting loose.
As a full disclosure, I have my heart set on doing a full bag fitting with Titleist clubs when I return. I did not have the time in my schedule to accomplish this before I go.
We’ll be sure to film a full VLOG of that fitting and explain why we’re choosing Titleist as our only manufacturer for all of our clubs. In the meantime, this is what I have to work with and here’s what’s coming with me to Bay Hill.
