Dustin Sends Brooks Congratulatory Tweet for POY Award

Ok everyone, the bash brothers seem to be buddies again according to what Furyk said recently and in a recent tweet by the number one golfer in the world.

Recently, Tim Rosafort sat down with Jim Furyk and asked him about the conflict between Brooks and Dustin and he quickly squashed the rumors of the two getting after each other on the plane ride to France.   He (Furyk) did however didn’t deny an altercation between the two in the European team room after the match ended on Sunday.

Furyk backed it up by saying that the two hopped in a cab together that night and went out in Paris.

Shortly after Player of the Year honors was granted to Brooks, a lot of players went to Twitter to congratulate Brooks, including Dustin Johnson.

The funny part is that nobody is buying it. Check the thread of that tweet for a long list of hysterical GIFs of people saying “Yeh, ok”.   In the famous words of Tommy Callahan in the movie Tommy Boy, ‘brothers don’t shake hands, brothers gotta hug”.  I think that’s what we all need to see to put this to bed.
