This Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Timeless GSS Vertical Stamper Just Sold for $15k

Recognize this putter? It certainly should look familiar.

That’s right, you could own (correction, could have owned…it’s sold already) a Scotty just like the one Tiger has been using for countless wins since first debuting the famous Newport 2 back in 1999.

The Scotty Cameron team posted the putter for sale in their Gallery store and it sold within minutes.

The legendary design fetched a whopping $15,000, which although quite expensive, seems like a paltry sum when you consider how much Tiger’s actual Scotty is speculated to be worth.

In recent years Tiger’s backup putters have sold for $66,000 and $44,000, and that was before his most recent Masters win! Needless to say, the Tiger Effect is back in full force ladies and gentlemen.
