DAILY INSPIRATION: Jason Day’s “Dream Crazier” Story Will Give You Chills

With his 12 PGA TOUR wins, including one win in a Major, it’s easy to see Jason Day now and forget about all the hardship from which he came.

But the reality is that Day’s family struggled early on. That fact is brought to light when you hear Jason telling stories about his mother having to warm water with a kettle so the family could take showers, or his father (who passed away when Jason was 12) rummaging through the landfill to find supplies for the family to use around the house.

What they lacked in material possessions the Day family more than made up for in their work ethic and dedication to each other.

It truly is inspiring to hear Day talk about a life that has already seen so many highs and lows, and yet still knowing how much he still has out in front of him.

As Jason says…”keep that journey going.”
