Miguel Angel Jimenez Took on the Bottle Cap Challenge Like a Boss
I think we can admit that we were all secretly waiting for Miguel Angel Jimenez to take on the summer’s hottest social media throw down…the bottle cap challenge.
The internet sensation has caught the attention of stars like John Mayer and Jason Statham, who have both attempted the challenge.
If you’ve been hibernating for the past few weeks, the bottle cap challenge is basically where you put a lid on a water bottle and attempt to unscrew the cap by grazing it with your foot (or hand, or golf club…or yes, even your hair).
Usually, someone is either holding the bottle or it is on an elevated surface so that the person has to jump and do something like a judo move to hit the cap at the right angle.
Seeing so many others doing it, Jimenez decided to take a crack at it himself.

Perhaps the most impressive part to me is that he did it with metal spiked shoes!

Jimenez definitely enjoyed his moment though and smiled wide after he stuck the landing. He’s known for having a unique stretching routine before his rounds and perhaps that stretching helped him with his leg kick.
Now that he’s accomplished the task, the next man being tabbed to take the challenge is Phil Mickelson and only time will tell if he takes on the bottle cap.
High kicking over @chrisodonnell. Why? Because I can! pic.twitter.com/aBizaPq4PW
