Just For Fun
This Unfortunate Golfer Just Got Caught Cheating On Live TV
Golf is a game of integrity. It’s the one sport that requires you to call a penalty on yourself. Even if nobody is watching, you still penalize yourself.
For one golfer up in Canada someone was watching…..the local news station along with all their morning viewers.
NOT cool to put me on TV without my permission pic.twitter.com/HejuSnqjcg

Two unsuspecting players were enjoying an early morning round of golf when the local news chopper was hovering overhead. The player moves his ball out of the rough and into the fairway. Then proceeds to duff a shot that goes about 15 feet away. He runs over, grabs the ball and puts it back in the same spot as the previous shot. Clear use of a mulligan there. He then takes another shot and advances it toward the green.
The news anchors had some fun watching this and gave the viewers a little play by play. To add a twist to this the player actually knew the helicopter was overhead.
What makes it funnier is he is buddies with one of the news people who actually do their job from that helicopter. He shot his buddy Shane a text asking if that was him overhead. He Said “yeah, did you just duff it, take a mulligan?” The golfer replied “yeah, that was me.”
The clip was shared on Twitter by golf.com’s Sean Zak and it proves that you never know who’s watching you.
