Phil Drops 15 Pounds Ahead of Open Championship
Phil Mickelson has been a must follow on social media for the last few months.
Phil’s always been known to have a good sense of humor so it’s no surprise that his new, “Phireside with Phil” segments have been such a success. The chat with his mom is my personal favorite.

Recently Mickelson has taken a short break from his posts to do what he has called a “reset “on his health.
The 2013 Open Champion said that he lost the 15 pounds by completing a “six-day fast with water and a special coffee blend for wellness” and going on a retreat.
Let’s get real for a minute. I haven’t been my best and I’m doing all I can to get it right. I’ll have more Phireside chats soon as well as a fun new series too. Until then, HIT 💣’s pic.twitter.com/QrqUpThEeV

Phil won at Pebble Beach back in February, but he has only logged one top 20 finish (The Masters) and has failed to make the cut in three of his last four events.
“I don’t know if it’s going to help me play better or not, but I’m willing to do whatever it takes to try to get my best back,” Mickelson said.
He is now at Royal Portrush for the 2019 Open Championship and hoping to gain his 6th major. If Phil wins this week or heck even if finishes in the top 10 we can expect a series of health videos to go with all those sweet calf posts.
