An ace is something we are all after. Its one of the first things brought up when talking golf with new playing partners. “So, do you have any?” is asked multiple times a day, all over the world. For 54 he just got his first. Former Chicago Bear linebacker and 2018 HOF inductee Brian Urlacher just recorded his first ever hole in one.

In a post he shared on Instagram he captioned it “Only took 15 years… but I finally got my first hole in ONE!! And it was on a Par 4”.

I am still chasing after my first and I don’t know if it will ever happen. I can’t imagine how I would feel if my first came on a par 4. Both of us NOT having an ace to our name was the only connection Urlacher and I had. Well that and he once held a door open for me at Chick-fil-A.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
