After firing an opening round 64, Tiger doubled down in round two with another 64 to take the solo lead. Making up for lost time due to the rain delay the field had to deal with Tiger went back out and fired a 66. He is currently sitting in solo 1st with a 3 shot lead over the field.  If he can hold off the tours best players, Tiger will tie Sam Snead with 82 professional victories!

He has been putting like he did in his prime. He’s firing at pins with the confidence he had in his 20’s.

Probably the best thing about all of this is that we can watch the goat possibly get his record  82nd victory in prime time. In the US football is king. Nothing can match the viewership a Sunday prime time game pulls in. But Tiger going for another PGA victory might be close. I love football but without Pat Mahomes playing vs The Packers tonight, I will be 100 percent locked in on Tiger tonight! The final round will be on the Golf Channel starting at 6:30 PM EST.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
