FINAU: What it’s Like Playing Augusta with Tiger Woods

“ I shot 64 on Saturday & I knew the chances of me being in contention and playing in the final group on Sunday were really high. As a kid I’ve dreamed of playing against Tiger Woods in a final group and in a major tournament. Thats what my dreams were made of as a kid. Saturday Night of course I was nervous, but on Sunday it didn’t feel the way I thought it would. More than anything I truly felt that I’ve earned this. Walking to the first tee, I never seen or heard so many people in a gallery in my life.”

Finau explained how it was a surreal moment for him, being able to play with Tiger in the final pairing of The Masters.

Finau went on to joke how  Tiger wanted nothing to do with him until after the round.  Yeh, probably always a good idea to stay away from Tiger coming down the stretch in any event, let alone the Masters.
