FIRST LOOK: TRUE Linkswear True OG Premium Golf Shoes

Everyone wants a fresh pair of shoes to rock out on the links to impress their buddies, but they often compromise comfort to do so. You don’t have to do that with the new “True OG Premium” golf shoes from my friends over at TRUE Linkswear.

The company started in 2009 and their motto is to #EnjoyTheWalk. Ryan Moore is also one of the PGA Tour players they work with, so maybe we’ll be able to get him on the Pin High Podcast soon.

They sent me a pair of the fresh white color with a little bit of a cork brown color on the sole, and they came out of the box looking CLEAN.

And they’re not only just aesthetically pleasing, they also are incredibly comfortable. They use a full grain leather with a water and oil repellent upper and there’s a 2 year 80,000 step dynamic waterproofing guarantee. All of that while still being a lightweight shoe at 12.7 ounces.

I’ve used these for 27 holes already since I got them this week and they honestly feel like you are walking on pillows. It’s an odd feeling to go from a heavier shoe with not as much support to the TRUE Linkswear, and I would compare it to when you finally clean your bag out of 10 water bottles, empty ball cases, etc. and it feels 20 pounds lighter.
